About this Blog

This is not going to be one of those blogs where people review new releases (although I will occasionally do so if I really like something).

This blog’s going to be more about the things I find while exploring the grid. Sometimes it seems to me as if the other bloggers always write about the same designers when there are so many others out there that also deserve a mention.

I’m also going to write about my personal favourites.

Sometimes I will be a guy, and sometimes I will be a girl or turn into a furry for a post or two. And sometimes I’ll have blue skin and a pair of wings.

Don’t let that confuse you. The thing I like most about SL is that you can become another person/creature in an instant.

I suppose I should also write something about review copies:

I do accept them, but:

I will state my honest opinion and not praise you because you gave me your stuff for free.

If your item’s already appeared in a couple of other blogs, I won’t blog it. There’s nothing more frustrating than taking a look at the fashion feed of your choice and reading ten posts about the same piece of clothing.

If you decide to send me an item to review, please put it into a folder and include a landmark so that I can take a look at your store.

And no, despite the impression that this blog gives, I’m not new to blogging. I just decided to shut down my old blog and move over to wordpress and write in a different language so that the people that read the fashion feeds actually understand me.

That’s it.

  1. Hi Dakota,
I like what you’ve written there. It’s great to have a few “established” bloggers, who usually get early copies to review them for the “OMG gotta get that!”-moments. I myself (even when I’m done with my older outfits) like to spend ages putting outfits together, which at the end might look very “Yeah, I could’ve done that!”, but I get some kind of satisfaction out of finding the 100% matching shoes, ring, eyes, blah. OK, maybe not a match for everyone though ;-) (wow, loads of blahblah again)
