Nora
I’ve been a Celestial Studios/RaC girl since I joined back in May of last year. I would occasionally check out another skin (D-Skin for example), but at the end of the day I would always happily switch back to my old and trusted skins.
I have no idea how exactly I found out about Nora. I think I was just randomly checking out blogs and forum posts to see if anything caught my attention.
Well, Samantha (the newest skin from Nora) definitely did catch my attention.
Samantha has the best lips I have seen on any skin. Minnu’s lips were always a bit too sharp fro my taste, and while Lovey’s Boutique makes great skins, the lips there look a little too cartoonish.

But not Samantha’s. Her lips are natural looking. They are her best feature, and they were the reason why I immediately bought a skin.
In one of my earlier blog entries I complained that the makeup choices were rather tame and boring (I miss the extreme makeup I’ve seen on Minnu’s skins or miw for example).
While this is still true now, the release of the “Wild Cat” makeups (skins with cat-themed eyeshadows) later this week promises at least a bit of variety.
Samantha comes in four different skin tones (Vanilla, Peachy, Ginger, Toffee) and 9 different makeups. All skins can be tweaked in terms of skin color and makeup.
My favourites are definitely the two dark skin tones (Ginger and Toffee). This is where Sezmra Svarog really excels.
The pale skin tones on the other hand didn’t entirely convince me. I found them boring, but that may be because I generally prefer darker skintones.

The front of the body looks great, and to me it has just the right amount of highlighting and shading. I’m not 100% sure about the back though. The shoulder blades and the line where the spine is look slightly weird to me.

Samantha costs 1000L$ per single skin or 2.200 L$ for a pack with three skins. Each skin comes with tintable pubic hair on the underwear/pants layer and four scalp hair colors in addition to the bald skin.
When I told Sezmra that I wanted to write about her skins on my blog, she sent me a package with a few review copies that also included samples of her older Entice skins.
I’m not going to do a detailed review of them here. I’m just going to post pictures so that you can judge them for yourself. I’ll just say that I prefer Samantha to Entice.

But we must not forget Glow Blood Doll. While Samantha’s all natural looking skintones, Entice has something for the goths in us.
I’m not too fond of Entice in general, but I love this one (and especially the blood on the mouth and the chin!):
